Our Campus
On September 2, 2015, we opened the doors to our new and permanent facility on Cumberland Ave. in Wethersfield, Connecticut. The School’s magnet theme focuses on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) subjects, and the exterior design provides interactive means for students to explore nature. The site’s natural rolling topography and extensive vegetation include nature trails, Bioswale, discovery areas, rooftop planting beds, a full-size soccer field, two playscapes and play yards, along with dedicated automobile and bus drop-offs.
The theme of interactive exploration carries into the building, with dramatic features and exhibits in the main lobby. At full capacity, the school will accommodate 435 PK to 5th Grade students, in 24 core classrooms. Additional classrooms include a science lab, a design lab, a literacy room, art and music, a new Library/Media Center and a rooftop garden. The school also has a state of the art multipurpose room with a gymnasium and cafeteria.
